In 2000, Weinbrenner employees took ownership of the company through an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan), and in 2014, the "1892 Heritage" line of handcrafted, lifestyle boots was introduced.

The boots are designed with a composite safety toe and a unique, flexible textile insole, meeting ASTM F2413 or ASTM F2892 electrical hazard resistance safety standards. The EVA/rubber oil-resisting outsole is engineered to withstand or reduce damage caused by oil. Additionally, the boots are 100% non-metallic, utilizing composite safety toes and non-metallic hardware, ensuring they do not activate security screening devices.

Today, Weinbrenner continues to expand its product offerings, with the recent launch of the first western wear product, Thorogood's Square Toe Wellingtons, in 2022.
