Thorogood American Heritage Steel Toe Work Boots for Men

Thorogood's American Heritage Collection offers a premium leather work boot that combines comfort, durability, and safety features. These plain-toe boots are crafted from full-grain, oil-tanned leather in a classic Tobacco brown color (804-4364).

Designed for tough jobs, these ASTM F2413-18 steel toe boots protect your feet from impact and compression hazards. The lightweight yet strong fiberglass shank construction provides the flex and support needed to maintain the boot's shape under heavy use. The 8-inch ankle support keeps you secure and stable.

The boots feature Thorogood's renowned MAXWear Wedge™ traction outsole, which flexes better than traditional work boot soles. This outsole absorbs impacts, shielding your feet and ankles, and provides grip on difficult surfaces like loose gravel, wet, and oily areas. It meets ASTM F3445-21 slip-resistance standards.

For exceptional comfort, the boots are equipped with a removable Ultimate Shock Absorption Footbed on a Poron Comfort Cushion Insole. This dual-density cushioning system uses air-permeable open cells to resist moisture and absorb shock, creating one of the most comfortable men's work boots available.

The Thorogood story dates back to 1892, when 27-year-old Albert H. Weinbrenner opened a cobblery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with partner Joseph Peffer.
