The boots feature a MAXWEAR WEDGE™ TRACTION OUTSOLE that flexes better than other work boot soles, absorbing impacts and providing secure footing on loose gravel, wet, and oily surfaces. This outsole meets ASTM F3445-21 Slip Test Standards for work boot soles. With an 8-inch shaft height, these WATERPROOF BOOTS for men have a gusseted tongue to keep water and liquids at bay, while the moisture-wicking lining pulls sweat away, allowing you to work without worry.

Thorogood has a rich history, having been founded in 1892 by Albert H. Weinbrenner, who opened a cobblery in Milwaukee with his partner, Joseph Peffer. In 1964, Thorogood introduced the iconic Hike n' Camp boot, which became the company's best-selling boot and is still available today in its original design. The company has undergone various ownership changes, including being purchased by a local group in 1988 and becoming employee-owned through an ESOP in 2000.

Thorogood has remained committed to upgrading its domestic facilities, machines, equipment, manufacturing methods, and computer systems, ensuring continued quality and innovation.
